Thank you Foxy but not good for showing -their combs looks like they floping and this is bad.Colouring and shape is good, nevermind will have from Poland next year from better source :D I love them anyway but one cockrel has to go before spring, and its either i can exchange him for a pullet or will end in the pot I'm affraid.

They 20 weeks old today. One of the cockrell is for sale as getting crowdet here with them now and I have only 1 pullet so one definitly has to go to a good home rather than the pot as rare breed in here.Very friendly but starting to fight now .They fun to watch ,very active birds.I hope you will enjoy the new pictures :)9920111113_99_7.jpg20111113_99_9.jpg20111113_99_10.jpg20111113_99_17.jpg20111113_99_25.jpg20111113_99_24.jpg20111113_99_26.jpg20111113_99_29.jpg20111113_99_34.jpg20111113_99_33.jpg

Hi Everyone, unfortunetly I had to kill one of the cockrell as got in to the fight(life&death)and one was so in to killing the other that I had to separete them(as they fought thru the wire net).I try to put them back together at night and hoping that in the morning will be friends again but to my horror they just pick up where they left previous day.You can only imagine how blody it was when I had opened the cop in the morning.Underside of the perches dripping with blood, both out of breath almost all feathers covered in blood too-horror.I ended up in bathing one of them as could not see all extent of injuries. He had a killer look in his eyes and went also after my black bantam orpington.
So far the other cockrel not bothered with orpington so I hope they can tolerate each other. Will see.
Sad but I really tried to find him a home :(

God, that's awful - so sorry to hear that and what a nasty shock for you. I hope things settle down with the boy you have left.

Thank you,I had sorted them out now and had to kill the one who had more aggression in him-but still very sad.He was also more damaged in fight too. This had completly changed dynamic in the cop no more exessive crowning and more quaite to.Hens seems to be more happy and the cockrel I had kept changed dramaticly-looking after the hens-especially the one who started laing eggs now(my silver/grey Dorking)I had noticed that my GLPF pullet maturing well too and hoping for eggs from her too(maybe in next few weeks)Will make new pictures of them soon,my cockrell after fights not looking his best at the moment.
