Excellent advice. Always listen to your inner voices - especially when they recommend more chocolate.
That reminds me of the time that I was debating what to get my husband for his 50th birthday. I was undecided, so I talked it through with a couple of little insects that I'd found in the bottom of the feed bin after I'd finished a bag of layers' pellets.

Perhaps I should've eased off the cheese the night before, because I could have sworn that I heard the bigger one say "I reckon your husband would really like an open top Mercedes coupe for his birthday. It's not every day that he hits 50 after all..."

The smaller one chipped in with "That's rather extravagant, don't you think? There is a cost of living crisis going on, don't you know, & they've still got their gas & electricity bills to pay... I reckon he'll be happy with dinner in the pub & a box of golf balls..."

So what did I do, you're wondering? Well of course I went with the lesser of the two weevils!

Was he sick from eating too much chocolate? If so, I suspect he was in good company yesterday... He looks cheerful enough now, so that's good.

Did you knit your jumper?

He had picked up a tummy bug from a friend he was with on Wednesday. He had diarrhoea by Friday, was vomiting by Saturday. With watching his mum being so horribly sick for the last 4 months, he told her on Saturday as he lay on the couch clutching a bowl "I feel like I'm going to have a baby!" ?

Yes, I did knit my jumper, from wool bought in Aldi a few years ago. It came out way too big, but I love it! I just love how jolly and cheerful it is!

I actually am starting into training again- I told daughter I'm aiming to be fit, strong & healthy enough to be a problem when I'm old!
