He had picked up a tummy bug from a friend he was with on Wednesday. He had diarrhoea by Friday, was vomiting by Saturday. With watching his mum being so horribly sick for the last 4 months, he told her on Saturday as he lay on the couch clutching a bowl "I feel like I'm going to have a baby!" ?

Yes, I did knit my jumper, from wool bought in Aldi a few years ago. It came out way too big, but I love it! I just love how jolly and cheerful it is!
And good to see an actual photo of you, LadyA. Maybe more of us could do that? Nice to know who we’re talking to.
This is me, wind blown as usual, in our dog-friendly coffee shop, holding Pippin.

Youngest grandson tells me I should get "nice hair" - he favours bright blue or vivid purple, like his mum. I am very tempted. But I have commitment issues - the thoughts of trying to maintain it are putting me off. I favour the "wash it and leave it dry itself" mode of hairdressing. My hair had gone quite long - below my shoulder blades - but I took the kitchen scissors to it a couple of months ago.

Not a funny pic today, but a truth. "Battle against a foe of such magnitude, who occupies your very mind....every moment you survive is a triumph against all odds. There is no more honourable combat."
