Hi Chris, I don't understand how homoeopathy works either, but I have decided that it doesn't matter. I have seen the incredible results before my eyes and it works almost instantly, you don't have to wait. Quite a few years ago now I had a dog who had a very serious condition that the specialist vets couldn't treat and told us she wouldn't live much longer. The symptoms were horrific and we had to take it in turns staying with her all night just to keep her from choking to death! We stumbled on someone who gave us the details of a homeopath who had successfully treated this condition in other dogs. We contacted her, she sent us the remedies in the post and within 2 days of starting them she had recovered completely. The extended course of treatment went on for about 3 months, but after those first two days she never again showed any signs of this illness. She was 18 months when diagnosed and lived until she was 11! From then on I have trusted homoeopathy more than conventional treatments. I could go on and on giving you examples of it working and all this rubbish about being the placebo effect cannot be an explanation with dogs as they have no idea what they are being given!
Maybe your friend could suggest something for Dilly and you may be pleased you tried!
