Ok my photos are too big!!
If you go to my website -
http://www.clrpoultry.webs.com you can see some photos of the different hens and hopefully the colouring! I will upload some of the cockerals so that you can see those as well. (Mods if I'm not allowed to the link feel free to remove it and I will try and upload some pictures!)
With pekins in general, you are really looking at their tilt, with the heads meant to be lower than their tail, I was told once giving the impression of a pin cushion/puff ball!! I was also told that you are not meant to see through the legs, with the partridges this is quite a common fault as their shape is not currently as good as the blacks/whites, although you will find that they fill out a lot with age and therefore show best at 2/3/4 years of age once they have fully filled out. They have got to be single combed with the hens combs being quite small. Common faults seen in pekins are split wing and split breast although this has recently been addressed so that you would hopefully not see it as much!
With regards to your birds, I like your cuckoo pekins particularly the middle one, the cockeral could be good is he was a bit lower to the ground almost as though he was wearing a skirt! But this may well be the photo, i think this similar to the third hen but i think that with her it is definitely the photo!! With the silver partridge i like her shape considering how young she is and would hopefully fill out well. From a showing point of view I think that if you put her with a well coloured cockeral then you would get some nice youngsters, but I can't really see the markings so can't really comment on that.
With the last cockeral I would probably call him a red pekin, apart from his tail, and neck feathers give the impression of a gold partridge! I'm not that good on genetics, but you could possibly put him in with some silver partridge and possibly get gold partridge but not sure...
Hope that helps and will put some photos of the cockerals onto the website
