Hi,
My lovely little blue pekin, Sky, has not settled down in her new home with me.
It wasn't that she was being bullied or anything like that, and she was eating/drinking and laying almost every day (better than the others), but she crowed her head off all day long.
She was a really lovely, friendly little thing, but in the interests of her happiness I have sent her back to her cockerel. She hasn't uttered a sound since. So hopefully, she will be happier now.
In return I brought back a pekin cross that my friend didn't want - she is into pure breeds only. She got my new girl with 4 others (which she can sell on) when she went to collect another coop.
So, I'm giving the little cross a home. She has a tiny touch of scaly leg, so I will treat her for that, adn she is being kept separate at the moment.
However, can we work out what she is?
She's got the markings of a Sussex cross to me, or perhaps a Dutch something ot other?
It makes no difference to me what she is, I fell in love the minute I set eyes on her. I've named her Milly.
