Incubation temperature for Giunea Fowl

Hi ,I'm incubating guinea fowl eggs for the first time and recently come acros on the net this •The correct temperature in the incubator is 37.5 degrees Celsius or 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit, decreasing to 36.5 degrees Celsius or 98.5 degrees Fahrenheit during the final three days of incubation.
Is this is tru that you have to lower the temperature for the last 3 days?Can you please tell me from your expirience as somtimes its hard to know who is wrigt and who wrong.Thanks in advance.

hi. hannah here..

i have incubated 7 eggs 2 times and have had excellent results with only 2 eggs not hatching overall
..however i have been told theyre hard to hatch
i have never touched the temperature just left them at 37.5 degrees for 27 days..however they have been coming 2-3 days earlier..hope this helps please let me know how you get on..its really exciting hatching..habe you incubated before? xx

Thank you for you reply.I had contacted my friend(who give me the eggs-they flown on the plane) and he do not change temperature either.It was an experiment how well they hatch after being on the plane and how much they will be affected.Well from 10 eggs;1 got cracked in the transit so I had discard that straight away.2 were fertile but fail to develop at all,2 had started but stoped very early,3 went out further incubation,so I'm left with 2 now to hatch on Monday.I had hatched chicks before.They run around my garden and living room now

It would seem strange to lower the temp.
