Can you believe a company is actually marketing this in the UK, why? Plus it must be illegal.

It popped up on my Twitter page, as you can imagine absolute outrage from people

Someone actually saw and photographed it in a garden centre.

They are both protected species so this must be illegal, but to whom do we complain about it? Criticism in the news isn't enough!

I guess one man’s hedgehog is another man’s rat.
We‘re in te process here of having all our cattle grids fitted with hedgehog escape ramps. Death by thirst and starvation is definitely not good for our profile.

But having said that!
The hedgehog is an introduced species here. It decimates the eggs and young of ground nesting birds. But the hedgehog itself has no predators here. A tricky conundrum. I know that in the Western Isles they are trapped and relocated to the mainland/or humanely destroyed by lethal injection. Allegedly!

As an introduced species that's reasonable but they are native to England, declining in numbers and are protected.

Hedgehogs are also a very helpful solution to slug problems. I hope that the people making this poison suffer a plague of slugs of biblical proportions, I really do.

The company seem to make a range of products to kill just about anything non human apparently

You will be pleaded to hear that after an outcry on Twitter and in the media, and various places telling them they would no longer stock their paint products, the company have withdrawn all said products from their website and shops
