Duckling temperature

Is the temperature under the heat lamp the same for ducklings as it is for chicks

Hi, yes, but for a shorter time- and you may need the lamp higher - you need to tell by their reactions- huddled under lamp too cold, scattered to edge of brooder pen - too hot-ducklings will be off heat in three weeks in the summer- longer if the weather is cold.
