Hello all,

Richard Jackson of Chickenvet is now writing bi-monthly (it was quarterly) articles for the Poultry Diseases section of the poultrykeeper site.

I asked him whether he would be able to write about the different types of droppings produced by poultry from fit and healthy through to birds with disease for his June article.

I have a good photo of a 'normal' dropping and 'Caeceal' dropping but if by chance you have any of other kinds of droppings that we could use in this article, do you think you could post them here and if there were any other symptoms from the bird they came from?

Thank you.. and I'm sorry to be asking you to post such odd pictures! My street cred' just nose dived.

LoL Just found this.
Think it's a great idea for an article, however not a normal subject for photos and a little difficult to take on the offchance.
Do you still need photos, or has Richard been out with his camera?

Yes, I'm still looking for a few if you happen to have any. I have the 'normal' poos of course but could do with something a little.... umm more exotic?

Read this and promptly spat out my wine laughing!! :D :D :D

I've got an 'exotic' one for you Tim!! I'll try to email it to you tonight. Not sure how clear it is though.

Hope the red wine didn't end up on any carpet Foxy!!!!

Ah well, the internet is wonderful isn't it. You can find almost anything, even conversations about ehhhem exotic chicken poos...!

Had an unusual one this morning. Very runny with green tubular shapes in it and some red fleshy looking bits. But we were in a hurry to go out so couldn't photograph it. Probably as exotic as chicken poo gets Tim!! I think they are due for worming.
