Cheery Pics

I hadn't realised the pineapple on pizzas was such a divisive issue.

I believe at this point it is obligatory to go GROAN

Well I feel obliged to chip in to aid Rick with:

my friend caught Covid from his cat, don't ask meow

This is very entertaining, if you’ve ever tried to chair a committee on Zoom.

Super, I did see a good one around Christmas time with a Christmas tree made up of hens. See if I can find it again

Stunning sunrise over house this morning. OH had been roaming the field out front in the dark looking for Woodcock and took this. She had by torchlight 13 Woodcock, 10 Snipe and 2 Jack Snipe

She has a coat with a big hood that maintains it will keep you warm in temperatures down to -30. Big thick trousers also, and says she has been lovely and warm all week, only problem being the hood muffles sound, and trying to write with thick gloves is tricky. It was -1 this morning and now it is + 9C.
The chicken are happy as they haven't got a howling icy wind in the run, and have been out of the coop all day

Bym, I invested in a good cold weather coat just before Christmas. It's from Craghoppers the outdoor clothing company and is rated for severe weather. It's fab! Like wearing my bed! [emoji23] Waterproof, windproof and very well insulated. Worn with a pair of thermal lined trousers, I can walk in all weathers. And the best thing was, it was reduced from €225 to €67!

OH got hers reduced from nearly £200 to under half price as well. Makes it seem even warmer.
6am and it is already 10C positively tropical

Due to my passion for outdoor pursuits before I got old I feel like I’ve tried every make. Brand names like Patagonia, Mountain Equipment and Berghaus trip off the tongue. It was always the belief that several layers (sweat wicking, warmth and waterproof) were more effective than one heavy duty jacket.
Have to say though despite getting old and nesh my Dickies all weather onesie is the warmest garment, and waterproof, I’ve ever owned.

Onesie are great for men. Not very practical for us girlies though, as the whole of you apart from your ankles gets cold when nature calls... Especially awkward when you're out in the wilds of somewhere.
