Worried

Well they are all suffering from the cold so Boris went into the greenhousein a hurry. Poor little chap was confused and was trying to get back to his coop when it got dark. So then the girls are obviously freezing, as they have all gone into a very rapid moult, feathers everywhere. So Daisy and Poppy went in last night and pecked Boris off the perch -not a good start. This morning he was asserting himself, but outside Snowdrop on her own was really upset -looking for her two friends everywhere. So we decided to risk it and bought forward the introduction of Snowdrop. She was a bit disorientated and cold but still repeatedly looked at Boris dancing around her with a view to striking. She had a few half-hearted pecks but 'stompy-dancing' Boris didn't notice. They then started the 'treats' display and I thought it was all going to kick off big time. But Snowdrop then quietly went over to the offering Boris had made and picked it up. Thereafter she followed him everywhere. When I checked tonight they were all on the perch with Boris in the middle, Snowdrop on one side, Poppy and Daisy on the other. So sweet! Thanks for everyones input, particularly Steph who suggested the followed plan. Its taken a difficult 18 months to get a suitable replacement for the original Boris and it appears we have finally succeeded -hatching eggs anyone?
