wing clipping

Just picked up three ex Battery chickens today can I clip one of there wings now or should I wait until their feathers have grown a bit .
Two of them are flapping quite a bit and I don't want them to fly next door as dogs are there.

Dont know for sure but I doubt ex-batts will fly anywhere yet. Poor things don't know what the outside world is. Also they need feathers to fly & if they're sadly lacking in the feather department they won't be able to fly.

They're probably just scared or even getting used to the fact that they can flap their wings! Just give them lots of security & calmness around them. Its gouig to be very strange for them even seeing daylight.
