One of my birds doesn't seem too well and her droppings are white with little black lumps. I'm not sure what this indicates?

Have a look here: https://poultrykeeper.com/digestive-system-problems/diarrhoea-backyard-chickens/ The poultrykeeper site has lots of info. Link at the bottom of the forum.

Could be she isn't eating Chickenfan. We have three at the moment with the same symptoms and one has a full crop which we couldn't empty? Suspect in our case a diet of Greengages has something to do with it and they could have sour crop or very bad digestive flora. Unfortunately we are far too busy at the moment to deal with them! Guess at some stage they will need Avipro Avian, but it's not possible to force it down as TNN's make very bad patients.

You could have a look at this too:

The range of "normal" poo is much bigger than you would think.

Ah, thank you Margaid! I couldn't find that, as I had lost my bookmarks when I had my laptop repaired a while ago!

Thanks so much for getting back Chris and Margaid with the very helpful details. I've been away so sorry for the late reply. You are right Chris that she wasn't eating. In the end I took her to the British Hen Welfare Trust vet for crop emptying surgery. She had some very sour grass there and is now recovering well. It seems quite easy to get sour crop this time of year. Could you not just put Avipro Avian or another probiotic in the water Chris? Or perhaps some epsom salts? I've found epsom salts sorted out her sister who was similar.
