Sorry Marigold, that post came out a bit wrong - blame it on OH just having told me he was b*******g off at 3.30 today and wasn't sure what time he'd be back tomorrow. It leaves me in charge of the builders and they always have a problem when he's not here, plus one of them is off today and I don't know how well he's been briefed!!

I've PM'd you asking a big favour please.

Well it's bakc to square one with the additional hens. Having decided I'd take the black Leghorn mum and the two growers I PM'd the seller asking if I could delay collection until maybe the end of November and that if that was OK I'd definitely have the mum and the growers. His response was

"Sure, that's fine. I would be happier the sooner I give them to you so that my flock is more manageable once I start working!"

In my book that consitutes a contract, but I've just had a PM that says

"Hi, the black leghorns were sold to a local parrot rescue today. Thanks"

NOT a happy bunny.
