What is this chick?!

This little (hopefully) lady was meant to be a blue pekin bantam but even with my minimal knowledge of breeds I dont think it is. Its slightly bigger than the other pekins and has bald legs. Its also a little more skittish than the peks. What do you guys reckon?

No idea! - but it's definitely not a pekin and is definitely very cute Did the people you had the pekin eggs keep any other breeds? Maybe an egg mix up?

I have just hatched a further 18 orp bantams, and they are exactly the same as the one in your picture.
Lets hope its a pullet

Thanks very much, thats sooo helpful! I've been dying to find out what she (he!) is. How old do you reckon she'll be before we can sex her?

She hasn't got many feathers still but has grown bigger in the fortnight we've had her. She's only got a few wings feathers still.
