Weight of a Blacktail?

Does anyone have an average or weight range for a blacktail hybrid hen?
Been weighing today but will need to catch Lulu and Pom when they are roosting. Took the opportunity to weigh Mo as she was getting broody on a clutch of eggs that I hadn't removed soon enough. If I ever did want to hatch she is very keen!
Bonnie (orp) is nearly 4kg now. OMG, time for a diet girl!

What method do you use to weigh them?
I stand on the scales with Poppy, my 6-kilo terrier, then put her down, weigh myself and do the maths. When my OH was ringing birds he put them upside down in a cloth cone bag and hooked it on a spring scale. Mostly they were much smaller and lighter than an Orp, though.

Like below Marigold.
The scales are adjusted to 1kg with no load so its the reading minus 1kg. Not very accurate but OK. Its high enough so they don't jump straight off again, long enough to read the scales before lifting them back down.
Standing on the scales is a good one too. Especially if they are digital.
... results (just out of interest - I'm surprised by the spread of weights for the CLBs and Aerial feels skinny as well as being over light.)

He used to be consistently 1kg but still seems fit, active and full of attitude. He must be getting on for 4 now (like Aerial). Neither of them seem to eat a lot - unlike Bonnie who rarely has her head out of the feeder. Aerial much prefers cabbage to pellets and Mo has got into the habit of going broody at any excuse (including outside the nest box on the shelf - i think it must be broody, haven't really had any do that before - that spread out thing, base wide as possible on the nest and complains like murder if approached.)
