Hi
I am thrilled to report that we had our first egg last Thursday and 1 a day since. We think the culprit is Genevieve as she is looking a little ragged round the back end. As it is fathers day tomorrow I am going to cook them for his nibs breakfast. These eggs are quite small is this normal and will they get bigger as the hens get older? What is the shelf life of an egg? They don't come with a sell by date like they do in Tescos! I know you can float or sink them in water to determine freshness i.e. they sink if they are ok.
