Two of our hyder birds brown feather hens ,when they poo it is watery and making a mess of there feathers on there bum.I have looked at there poo and canot see any worms in it, plus they are a bit puffed up and there comes on top of there head are off red colour and bent over, floppy,,. Any advice cheers Ian .

Hi
When did you last worm your hens, dirty bums can be a sign of worms.
Personally would re worm them. Also put ACV in their drinking water.

Hello, i would also check the birds for lice and their coop for red mite- dirty bottoms are a sign of lice/feather mites. Also if they are pale looking it could be red mite/lice as well. Good luck and keep us informed.

One of mine has gingery poo, not messy on the bottom but the poo is definitely not right. Should I worm too and if so , what is the best way to do so?
