Warning - Chocolate Orpington Eggs Ebay

IF we can name and shame we should be able to praise any good sellers too surely - I have four beautiful pekins from a batch of 6 mixed pekin eggs, Lavender, black, cuckoo hens and handsome buff cockerel. Not evrybody is out to get us, but I can understand the frustration of paying sooo much and not getting what you expected.

omg how much :o

It was £450,but for someone else who couldn't attend the sale.they were lovely birds that I would love to own, didn't panic and were easily handled.
All the other birds were terrified, and panicking a lot.

There is,in the same section as the bad sellers/sellers to avoid.I put someone on there who sold me 6 fertile quail eggs through ebay.

Blimey Lydia...! :o

I was very cool, when the guy bidding against me said £100,I calmly said £200,he then said £300,when I said £400 he answered £410,so I knew as he hadn't gone higher he was starting to 'chicken out' ,my bid of £450 clinched it,for a trio of lovely orpington's........I was relieved he stopped though.
Wish when he'd started bidding against me, I'd accidently knocked him over and stood on his throat to stop him sooner  .

I'll know another time....... ,everyones has been warned now  .

They are a lovely trio, when the steward was with me to collect the birds, all the birds except the orpingtons really panicked, the orp's took it in their stride. When I got home,I wanted to put the cockerel in a slightly larger box(I only had really small boxes with me)and he had a cuddle before going back in another box.
The hens were just as calm,I've not really had experience of orpingtons before, they really impressed me as well as being stunning gorgeous chooks.

Just a quick note about the person selling/advertising choc orp bantam eggs on ebay, they have started advertising choc orps's again-also claiming they are not a scammer!!!Now go by the name Myorps4u.

OK Lydia - well spotted.

For anyone interested in getting Chocolate Orpingtons, I've been researching them recently and have written a short article about them, including the different matings that you can have with black orpingtons and what you get out from these matings. Chocolate Orpingtons article

Um,actually it isn't.....when there is nothing on t.v. I want to watch,I look at the hatching eggs on ebay,so I can look at the pics of the chooks  (hate peeps that just post a pic of eggs)....not that I'm sad or anything ;) .

   don't worry I do that lydia. trouble is I end up seeing eggs I want to bid on when I can't buy them. been looking at some splash cochins on there today but must wait untill my quail and serama are off heat lol :D

Glas you do as well  .I know,I'm always spotting ones I'd love to buy.I have noticed though, that a lot do come back on again.

Last night I noticed this same person is also advertising fertile gold laced orpington bantam eggs, quick to jump on a money making band wagon aren't they.Wonder what eggs you get sent instead of gold laced orps......

I was interested in buying some.
Does anyone have any or a good ebaye???
