I would defo. reduce humidity--BUT many would NOT agree, I think it depends on make of incubator , siting in house , geography , type/size of eggs Im afraid. I quickly learnt that the running instructions in mine were not suitable for my situation and ended up drowning (I am sure ) my first hatch in it --they take a few goes sometimes to suss out properly. May be reduce it then go out for the day or you will sit there looking at eggs , watching thermometer and humidity dials --they will hatch if they are going to ! I have eggs due yesterday that have been moving for 2 days , chirping away , the humidity in inccy is 32% and Im going out for the day --to another BHWT rescue -heard on the grapevine there are 800 (!!) chooks -I hope thats wrong!Ros
