i have eggs in the incubator dues on sunday and now two of my wyandottes have gone broody. should i stick with rearing them myself or give them to one of my hens before or after they hatch?
i am going to attampt to give her the chicks after positive threads i have read on here. i need to know should i give her the eggs now or wait until they hatch and give her the chicks??! she is currently sitting on golf balls! they are due to hatch on sunday so would really appreciate some advice!!
---Id give her the eggs to hatch herself.She is then unlikely to reject chicks if she is well glued to the golf balls.Makes no sense to waste electricity! Ros
iv never tried it this way but i wish i had some in the inc my girl has been sitting on eggs and the failed to hatch iv got to take away soon shes going to hate me.
her 2 sisters have chicks im worried she may try pinching them
