hi all.
it is my first atching of turkey eggs, the first chick 2days old now took a long time to come out, he's fine still running around as a bit drunk! the second one only a day later -had to be helped out of the shell after 3 days of chipping away y'day morning,he is not on his legs as a day old.
his feet are curled in a fist - they seem to have a bit stronger grip today-and the legs are bent still retaining the shape they had into the shell- he kicks tho', better than yesterday. he's drinking, i make some chick crunch tea, had a poo and is generally perky. still alive a chirpy this morning after a peaceful night.
few years ago I splayed a peacock chick leg and it worked, but that deviation was lower. this one seems to have some weakness at the tight.
he can't be culled, he HAS THE WILL to live.
many thanks to all.
