I was browsing Facebook when I saw someone posted this picture.

Has anyone seen them in the store?
More importantly has anyone incubated and grown baby chicks with these fertilized eggs? Could be a great backup plan if you’re unable to get some from tractor supply this year. I read they could be white leghorn baby chicks if they hatch!

Kind of a neat experiment if you’re in the market!

Wait I'm brand new. How does this work? Is this a special culinary thing? Do they taste any different than a normal ol egg? I saw eggs at $10/doz today 😮

I guess there's a bit of buzz going around because you could technically incubate and hatch these guys. I dunno that you'd want to necessarily and there's no guarantee they're fertile, they're usually just "in contact" with a rooster at some point. They're refrigerated as soon as they're laid so they don't taste or look any different than your other store bought eggs.
