am sure the chickens will keep you entertained chris 08 , so far for me its not good mum had the dreaded thoat bug a few days ago and now i have got it 06 06 i keep burning up i've even done the horses very early today the dogs can stay in and i cant wait for the girls to go to bed so i can go back to bed but at least i might be better for thursday going to restart the new runs roof

Aw, hope you feel better very soon - cyber hugs to you & your mum. Christmas isnt a great time here either, lost my mum a few days before Xmas 4 years ago.

i feel ok in myself i just have a stingy sore throat but cant stomach any food for some reason :lol: one good reason for not pigging out today .it doesnt feel like xmas day though not sure if its the weather thats doing that or the fact that its so sad here already had big thunder and lightning they didnt mention that on the weather report last night .

Sounds like a nasty bug Karminski. Both stay warm and dry. Problem with livestock is they don't let you have a day off.

I've been commanded to stop work on the new enclosure. So a day of rest for me. Rain forecast for this afternoon, so digging post holes isn't really feasible anyway.

thats the only prob no days of when animals are involved :lol: i want to go back to bed but i cant even lay down as soon as i do i start coughing and looks like doing the roof on the new run thursday is a no go zone the ground wont be safe for working on whats the saying best things come to those who wait :lol: :lol: only thing is i dont know how much longer the banties will wait dont think they even left thier house yesterday poor things ,maybe i should of got ducks would not of had any worries about giving them a pond 17

good thinking bickerton but my works is all locked up tell the 2nd and getting pallets is soemthing i dont have the strength for just took dogs out in between downpours and thats enough still got another 26 animals to sort out :lol:

think we all need to do that theres another load of rain on the way speedy recovery omgggggg i feel like death warmed up this has got to of been the worse xmas ever an theres no way the new roof will be getting done tomorrow that will just have to wait .hope you guys had a better xmas then me
