my chickens were making a lot of noise this evening and when i went out to see what was going on,i found one of them runnning around with either a frog or toad in its mouth and the other ones were chasing it,i couldnt catch her to take it off her,i think they have ate it and was wondering if it would cause them any harm.

They so funny those chickens they always acting like this when they have someting yummy(in chicken taste )they run around like mad chickens making so much noise and try to still the food from eachother.Even if you get her I dont think you would pull that frog from her(I lifted the chick recently he was biting on wood shawing-man they have strong bite when determinated). The frog is OK to eat toads can have poison in they skin so many animals do not eat those.I assuming it was a frog as toads often produce bad taste to try eskape from being eaten

She'll come hopping out when you let them out in the morning so you'll see that she's fine. All part of a normal healthy bit of chicken behaviour.

Haha my chickens ate a mole!!! i was so shocked but 1 mole between 20 chcickens was gone in seconds.. they will probably eat a lot worse :)
