Hi
The girls have arrived (1 Warren, ! Speckledy and 1 Black Rock).

Within 2 hours of arriving we have had our first egg. Currently they are being kept in the run/house and given brief excursions under supervision in the drive area, but once fully wormed will be given access to the enclosed drive where we have put bark chipping down and will have a sand pit ready for them. This are we intend to fully enclose (net overhead) so they can have access throughout the day when we are at home with the occasional trip out into the garden.

I think the OH is waiting for a 2nd egg so we can have one each.

See they are eyeing up the potted plant already Daveyb. Will soon be transplanted for you I'm sure, as will the soil. Great photo opportunity. Sure you will really enjoy watching them and eating their eggs.

The pot used to have an olive tree in it, no they didn't eat it   It died last year due to the extreme weather conditions and the tub stood at the drive last year growing weeds which they then loved. Have to use the tub for growing goodies for them that can then be given to them as environmental enrichment.

Have had 3 eggs from them to date and all 3 have been double yolkers
