The girls getting used to the girls

Hi

Our hens seem to have settled in well since they arrived last week and now we are now getting our other girls used to them.
Needless to say Bonnie & Bella are only allowed into the pen under strict supervision and seem to behaving themselves to date. The hens are totally laid back with them being around and the photo below was achieved by using gravy bones as bribery (chicken flavour Bonios now off the menu :lol: :lol: ).

We used to 'dog sit' for a Golden Retreiver called Rose. She was no bother at all with our chickens -ignored them completely. Think she had a bad encounter with a cockerel once!

Before anyone panics we only have 3, the dogs didn't eat one.

Both 'Bonnie' and 'Bella' are family names for me (cousin and g-grandma). Just need a third name for my third hen now. :lol: Briony, maybe?
