Spirulina is effective for the treatment and prevention of avian influenza..

I don't think its avian influenza thats causing the local ducks to stop laying or whole murmurations of starlings to simultaneously crash into open fields and break their necks though. It would be more interesting to study the effect of electro magnetic radiation on birds, the local pigeon racing events have had to be cancelled because so few are returning.
