Hello All,
Spring is breaking through, snow in cental Maine is melting away. It seems Francis has done some good growth of his spurs this winter, should I trim them back /? Let them go? if to trim then what is the best method, clipping, sawing ??
Also, one of the leghorns got hit by a car prior to Crhristmas, she is gimppy now, limps and slow but eating very well, and very alert, the other hens have ostrisized her, pick her baddly, blood mess, so isolating her ntil spring, then she can fend for her self better. Will she ever lay again ? will the others accept her with time ??
thanks for the help.
