Hi,
Look what we woke up to this morning  , poor birds have only just started laying properly, this will no doubt upset the routine.snow 001.JPGsnow 002.JPG
I'm sure spring is just around the corner, but it sure has been a long winter :-)06
Regards
Sue

I find it amazing that we can have so much of a difference between north and south. We watch the weather for Scotland as my wife and inlaws are Scotish. (They're near Edinburgh) And as it says on the tin, We're down in west Devon. :-)17

IIRC for every 200 miles north spring is a week later (?) Something like that.... :-)05

We have been having an early spring so far down here. I even burnt my Brocholi in the GH last week and Currently sit here perspiring after a hot morning at the allotment. 8-)

It's spring equinox on March 21st ! It can't be long before it travels as far north as you ..... I hope :?

Scotland looks beautiful but it sure is cold
I hope the weather improves soon for you and your chooks.............spring can't be far away for you!

Beautiful photos, at least we are at the right end of winter.. :-)17
It has been a chilly week down here for us Southerners too, I had to put my growers outside..in a shed with heat, spent all night worrying about them, I had to sneak out at midnight to have a quick peek through their window, needless to say they were all cuddled up under their electric hen peering up at me! awwwww....

Lovely photos! But appreciate its been a long winter for you. We're still getting frosts & wont be putting chicks out for a while yet. Roll on spring :-)17

Hi Sue! Back at ya from not so sunny, pretty darn snowy East Kilbride!!! We have suddenly regressed to January again... Here was me thinking my nights of setting the alarm at 2am to do hot water bottles was over.....
Nope up again last night! To be fair I only did my new gals as my originals should be ok with this, just conscious my new have come from a flock of 50 to 3 in their little quarantine pen...
