Speckled Sussex

Do Speckled Sussex have pink feet and 'toes'? I'm sure her legs and feet were white.
For some reason I've only noticed this on mine to-day and can only think that
a) this is new or :shock:
b) I've been a very stupid mummy and just not noticed. 06

My Sussex cross and my Maran both have pinky feet atm, i think it's cause it's cold out. It's never been a problem for us. but usually they are grey/white hope this helps settle your mind.

yeh, thanx Steph. I've no probs with them being pink, just thought I'd make sure there was nowt wrong with her. I'm such a worrier where my girls are concerned. And I really couldn't believe that I hadn't noticed it before, but by what you say this pinkness happens sometimes.

Sussex chickens have white legs but sometimes there's a red /pink line running down the side of the leg.
Yellow legs would be a fault.
