any ideas why this bird is just sitting there, is eating if i put it infront of him, doesnt move if i pick him up which is unusual without a rugby tackle, saw a cat slinking away this morning part of me thinks maybe it had ago but there is no sign of blood or loose feathers anywhere has me stumped?

Not really enough to make a guess FW. Is he wheezing?, sneezing?, have a blue comb?, hard crop?, open beak?, neck twisting?, walking funny?

Looks like his right wing has dropped and may be injured? If so he won't jump down because he needs to flap his wings to reduce the impact. Not necessarily a permanent injury but will certainly need rest and perhaps anti-inflammatory/pain relief (Metacam from vet).
