Serama bantams

I am thinking of purchasing a Serama Cock because i have been told they are the quitest Cock and do very little crowing compaired to other Cock birds. Can anybody confirm/deny if this fact is true? Wouldnt want to become attached to a bird and find out we have to part company.

Any info would be gratefully apreciated.

MM, not sure where you heard that :shock: I have 10 boys, 3 LF & 7 bantam - loudest is App boy, followed by serama boy :shock: yet quietist is a serama. Order of gobbiness App, serama, LS x, oeg, booted, LS, mod, serama, pekin, serama.

None of them are particularly loud except the App & serama.
