I think this forum is fantastic!
I guess there is nothing the moderators can do, BUT, I wish that there was more input from Scottish breeders/backyard keepers/local knowledge as regards chooks, dooks and everything else. Unfortunately searching the "for sale" areas or breeders or where-to-find-anything-of-note: everyone is way down south (bar the occasional Northumberland member)! We have the wonderful Peebles show every year and the Scottish show too if you are interested in showing...Please, if you are north England or based in Scotland this is a fabulous site to meet, chat, or sell and buy! I believe we have a slightly different environment to those lucky folk down south and seem to have a limited number of people on this site for advice or for sales, given our slightly harsher climate and smaller population to engage with each other. Maybe Tim and Davidd could do a Scottish/Northern England Special..?! And subsequently links to other ones in other parts of the country - showcases if you like. With registered calendar/news via subscripted email? What do you all think? (Sorry Tim - probably more work for you perhaps..) That way we could know what is going on with EVERYONE!
