Runners not laying

Helllooooooooooooooooooooo anyone???

I have 3 Indian runners and 2 Aylesbury ducks. The Aylesbury's are laying and have been for about a month. The runners aren't!!? They are doing the usual bobbing heads etc but no eggs? I don't know how old the Aylesbury's are s they are rescue ducks but the runners are only 3 this year and are usually laying by now. Any idea's?

Sorry Carol-Ann; maybe the duck experts aren't around at the mo. Don't feel ignored though....

Maybe the runners are just a bit lay coming into lay due to the weather. It does also depend on the age of the runners. I find that my old dears come into lay much later, and the younger ones about feb/march. Saying that the ducks this year have all been a bit haphazard with laying so far.

Hi Zo

The runners still aren't laying, they have all they need and are usually laying by now??? All are healthy and still young so I am confused by their lack of eggs. Howard the drake is doing what he should be doing and the girls are bobbing around him and running around in the funny way that they do. I am stumped!! :|
