roo's or pullet's? now 6 weeks old :)

hi all :)
our chicks are now 6 weeks old :D
no idea what they are though :( just wondered if anyone had any idea's on what they are? :)

...... roo's or pullet's?

I'd have a guess at :-

Chick 1 - cockerel
Chick 2 - pullet
Chick 3 - cockerel
 
yeah top looks like a boy middle a hen bottom one i cant see pics

If you have a look at the combs and wattles of the three birds the first and third are much redder and more developed- which is what made me think they are probably boys. The pullet in the middle has a more pinky/yellow comb and you can barely see any wattles at all. :D

I find some breeds much easier than others to sex as youngsters- Can work out pekins from about 4 weeks but my polands are very tough :roll:
 
iv 4 polish x silkie the boy was no prob to sex but i couldnt tell if girls were boys or not. i thought that ctoo was a boy till i cought her laying an egg and one of the others lays eggs and crows so shes even confused
 
Unless it is an autosexing breed, I usually wait until someone starts crowing! I have some 7 week old miniature Silkies....lots of dancing about, hard stares.....but no crowing yet!!!
