Red Sky At Night

Because we have a steep ridge that rises to the west of us we get some very interesting sunsets here, they often remind me of Cloud City from The Empire Strikes Back, normally the photos of them don't come out too well but for once I have actually managed to capture one though this one was a bit redder than normal. Should be a nice day tomorrow then .

Great photos Dinosaw. Ours don't usually come out very well either so we have stopped taking them. Generally here the sunrises are better than the sunsets -the sun being so bright on the latter that it confuses the camera and it all comes out black. At the moment it is miserable here with mist and low cloud- very unusual weather for us and apparently I missed 5 glorious days whilst I was in England. Temperatures have plummeted from mid-20's to mid teens with mornings now forecast down to 1-3 degrees for the next week- again very unusual for October. Birds don't like it much either as several are moulting.
