hi, i was just wondering if anyone knows if layers pelletts contains any sorts of steroids? (in any form). many thanks Joanne

Most unlikely. I've used many different brands and none has ever had steroids added and I think it would be illegal to do so.

Thank you very much, this has been a great help. Recently since i got the chickens my dog has been ill, i have noticed that she has been eating their leavings. Many attempts to stop her have failed. So we are creating a chicken area (fence around). I was just wondering if anything in their leavings could affect my dogs health. many thanks Joanne =]

It's not uncommon for dogs to eat chicken leftovers which should not cause any problems. The chicken will eat the dog's food too if they get the chance so they will be best penned up so you have more control !
