popping sound from incubator

Hi all I am new to hatching and incubating chicks and I am.going to ask what is probably a stupid question. What is the popping sound that comes from incubator every now and again I am at hatching stage couple of chicks have hatched and are out under the brooder

Hello Emz and welcome to the forum. I haven't a clue what the popping sound is? With our incubators you can't hear anything over the noise of the fan. The chicks pipping and hatching is a very slow process so I can't imagine that's what you are hearing. Is there a mechanical fault with the unit?

No mechanical fault as it is brand new. Seems only to happen every now and then the fan is reasonably quiet on this one. Thanks anyway sure it is nothing important

Bantams,well summers,leghorns and a silkie cross but.can't remember what they crossed with
