I have 9 young bantams in my garden, ranging from age 12 and 16 weeks old. For the passed 2 weeks they have been making a ratting noise while breathing and sneezing, but apart from that they seem lively enough run around the garden and are eating ok.
Does anyone know what it could be, and does it need treatment.

Regards Gill

Hello, it sounds like a mycroplasma infection- you need to see a vet for antibiotics- normally Tylan is given in the water for seven days- if you search the forum for Mycroplasma there are lots of posts on it.
I would try and speak to a vet ASAP.
regards, David :)

Thanx for the reply David, had a feeling it might be that, but with them still having a good appetite, I wasn't sure.
I will make an appointment for the vets pronto.

Gill :)
