Is it possible for a Pekin to change feather type, because she has, I think?
My lavender Pekin, Yoko, underwent a moult recently and has emerged with blunt ended feathers which look a bit awry to say the least, she looks like a demi-frizzle or frizzlet.
Still the same dear girl, but with a make-over. Does this mean she has frizzle in her ancestry.
Could she emerge next year as a beautiful smoothie again?
Any comments on this would be most welcome.
