Must admit I've never really been keen on them - a friend had a white 1 that always looked tatty & grey despite being healthy (think it was because she free-ranged with their other hens rather than being kept somewhere dry & sheltered), but these are lovely little things. Can't get over how fluffy they are (especially in comparison to my friends) or how friendly they are (though they're still a tad nervous when the dogs are nearby or when I appear with the camera LOL!). Have been toying wioth the idea of having a few myself (though need to sort a house & sheltered run for them so may be a while).
