oh oh oh just went to check my eggs and heard a peep peep peep, first one is about halfway round his egg.
little CPQ on the way . I wanted to try hatching some serama's so got 6 eggs just to try. well I couldn't have the incy running with only 6 eggs could I so got about 40 CPQ's in. plus that way if I only get 1 serama then at least it wont be on its own( thats my excuse and i'm sticking to it :D ) anyway nothing from the serama yet but my little quail are on the way. I hate this bit, so want to help them out.
 
Ooh! Stepyone - I hope you get loads hatching safely - such an experience isn't it? :D :D
 
good luck Stepyone for a really successfull hatch.Did you manage to resist candling the Serama eggs?
I got a pair of Serama's yesterday from Salisbury poultry auction.
 
yes and no to the candling I havent picked them up but did try just shining the light at them in the incy just enough to see if they were clear or not and think have at least 3 fertile so fingers crossed. have left them all alone way more than I normally would :oops: and its been so hard. even worse now I know they're on there way
