A novice when it comes to chickens, got some hatching eggs for my birthday from friend and i thought i would give it a go! So i got a book bought an incubator and joined a forum (cos lets face it you will probably get better advice here then a book). So hopefully in 3 weeks i will have a dozen (if im lucky) of orpingtons - 6 buff and 6 cuckoo.
