not sure about my eggs

i have candled my girls day 12 and i came online to look for pics and found this which i find amazingly helpfull and now i dont think my eggs are going to do anything as they are nothing like the pics http://www.backyardchickens.com/a/candling-pics-progression-through-incubation-of-chicken-eggs there is something there but i am so so unsure not sure if its worth starting again . my eggs still have what seems like a large air sac and the blob inside only covers half the egg and on 2 of them i can see what looks like a dark blood ring surrounding whats inside its nothing like day 12 pic on this site although i can understand that some may be different .

I can't see anything like that Karminski as our candler isn't powerful enough. Usually by day 12 the eggs are either clouded, so there is something there, or completely clear (infertiles). If the cloud is small relative to the others it is probably a dead embryo caused by bacteria invasion which usually kills them at 4 -7 days.

So it sounds like the ones with the blob inside are developing chicks, two of them are dead embryos and you have no infertiles. But see what others think. Did you put them in egg sanitiser before you started?

i did clean the incubator and wiped the eggs over as well , as said on the phone i think i will have to wait and see now bit of a bummer though as my cuckoo maran has finally gone broody and shes one hek of a good brooder :lol: umm might of got a eletric hen for no reason but time will tell only got to wait tell the 3/4 july 05 05
