I have been sitting outside again over the last few days as the weather has been quite good, but yesterday I spent 2 hours going through the forum looking and reading, I then spent 2 hours trying to find anywhere around my area that had any old world war 1 or 2 items as i collect them(If anyone has anything like this i would appreciate an email please) after a very frustrating time i was ready to reboot the computer (Hard). I then decided to go out to the flock with my tea and some biscuits, and yet again i was captivated, As i am now letting my silkie chicks out with the older ones, and i was very pleasently surprised as the got on very well apart from the odd peck here and there. As today is so nice i am going back out for a rest, i think they should get chickens for people in hospital to watch as they cheer me up all the time.

Our neighbours mum has had a stroke and is sick but is out of hospital and recovering. The neighbour (who is a Doctor) asked if my wife would take Bottom, our pet Buff Orpington Cockerel, over to her to let her see him. She was amazed at his size and nature and stroked him. Her eyes lit up as she did this and it clearly had an effect, as our neighbour thought it would. Yes, I think they should get chickens at hospitals.
