I would love to block off the nest boxes - mine poop in there too! however, they only seem to be laying after breakfast and at midday so far :-D

I would love to block off the nest boxes - mine poop in there too! however, they only seem to be laying after breakfast and at midday so far :-D

Just put a big plastic flowr pot in each nestbox round about teatime when they've finished laying, and whip it out next morning before they need to lay.
(don't do what I sometimes do and forget to remove it - or you'll get indignant girls queuing up with their legs crossed to get in there to lay! )

thats all changed yolks, 1st egg today , warren i belive although black rock, and bluebell was close at hand, white susex to young yet .
