We've had our chucks from babies, they are about 6 months old now and we've had 5 eggs so far [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]. We've got Tikka and Nugget now, unfortunately Popcorn had to be euthanized last week due to suspected Mareks [LOUDLY CRYING FACE]. Fortunately the other two are fine! Our other "chicken" is blue & gold, with a huge black beak and never stops talking lol! He lives with us in the house though. We're on a forum with him, and it has been brilliantly helpful, so we thought we'd join one for the girls!

Hi MJG, and welcome to the Forum. Sorry to hear about Popcorn, that must have been distressing. Mareks often emerges when the birds are youngsters. Keep a careful eye on the others as if one of the hatch was infected it may be lurking there with the others, though I hope not, good luck anyway. It's lovely to be getting your own eggs, isn't it?

Hi MJG and welcome to the forum. Sorry about your problems with Popcorn. Hope it all goes smoothly from here onwards.
