Hi folks.
My family and I are new to the world of keeping chickens at home although my wife was brought up on a farm with chickens at home.
We are fairly new to allotment keeping, growing fruit and veg etc and after much discussion and consideration, have decided to make the jump to keeping chickens. We are ordering a coop and run suitable for 4-6 birds although we intend to have only 4 hens for the forseeable future.
I have read my way through the site and forums and I have picked up some fantastic tips already so a big thank you for that. I have no doubt I will be asking questions as time goes by.
